MOTY is an attempt to make a simple application to track the movies I've seen and rank them.

I built it primarily for myself and my family. We see a moive at the theatre most weeks, and wanted to keep track of them.

I tried a few other apps before building MOTY, but they were to complicated or just tried to do too much.

Since MOTY was built for multiple people to use it, why not make it open for everyone to track their movie of the year!

All film-related metadata used in MOTY, including actor, director and studio names, synopses, release dates, trailers and poster art is supplied by The Movie Database (TMDb). MOTY uses the TMDb API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDb.
